Nadine is a self-made, driven, independent financial whiz. Then we meet Mitch who is talented with his hands as blue collar worker who owns his own auto body shop but he isn't as successful as he'd like to be. He's a dreamer, procrastinator and scared of change. Not only does he have big dream but he feels like he isn't good enough to reach those dreams, sabotaging his own success.
This is a really great read that takes the light approach to a topic that plagues a lot of couples. When the woman makes more money than the man in the relationship can these two look past societal gender norms and accept one another? Well one is willing in this tale, while the other takes long road to realization.
I am not familiar with this author.. Most of the books revolve around a billionaire, so I was thrilled to see the title, Millionairess. I felt the story was not smooth.. If the reader was confused in the spoken or unspoken words of the couple, how do you think they felt I may read it again, just because, I would like to give it another chance. This is my second book by this Alyssa Kress and I must say it was very enjoyable read. The main characters Nadine and Mitch clicked right away and the writing and the story line was not only good it allowed you to feel like you were part of the story.
It was funny, serious and sometimes I wanted to tell Nadine and Mitch that they were trying too hard to be what the other wanted and sometimes it doesn't work out that way but in the end the author brought the story full circle. I would definitely recommend Alyssa. I did not have a bored moment when reading this book.

I always enjoy reading any millionair story. My thought is that women can be millionairs on thier own as well as the men.
The lengths some will go to find love and make a life interesting. Actually, Nadine is shy. With men, she's positively awkward. Then she meets Mitch.
