You get to see a more vulnerable, naive yet confused Ky in Apprentice Saga. I felt like slapping Liem Kane half the time especially, for the way he treats his demon. The ending was insightful as you get Liem's POV but I can't help but feel the next instalment is going to bring more trouble for poor Ky. There was a lot of streamy sex scenes: I thoroughly enjoyed Apprentice Saga - the story was amazing, well written and a page turner. I love Sadie's books - she's a gifted writer who knows how to bring a book to life.

But we can't only focus on the attraction between these two, no Not, only that the paranormal world has to mend their relations in order to work together to beat their common enemy.

Fast pace with not a single boring moment. But we still have one more witch to find love so on to the next book. A world of witches, demons, fae, changlings and more along with love, lust and humor. A lot of levels to enjoy. When I read book one of this series I knew Ann Gimpel was going to be one of those authors who writes books good enough to put on the keeper shelf and this book doesn't disappoint either. She writes books you just don't want to put down. Colleen, Roz and Jenna are the last of a line of demon killing witches, which was forced on the by the Sidhe, but that's all behind them now as Colleen is marrying one of then Duncan, but during their marriage ceremony Demons appear.

Roz likes another of the Sid When I read book one of this series I knew Ann Gimpel was going to be one of those authors who writes books good enough to put on the keeper shelf and this book doesn't disappoint either. Roz likes another of the Sidhe Ronin and he like her so much so during the marriage ceremony he casts what he thinks is a subtle enchantment spell but Roz notices and she's not happy about it, she already had her fill of rotten men having had no luck previously including two failed marriages behind her what happens next your just going to have to read the book yourself as I hate reviewers that give away to much of the story especially when the book is a dam good one.

This tells the tale of Roz, a demon assassin witch with incredible powers, and an attitude to match. After the last demonic assault, Roz, Colleen, Jenna and Bubba all need a break. The Irichna demons are growing bolder than ever.

Back in Fairbanks for just a few days at the most, Roz, Colleen and Jenna are all taken by something that really wants to hurt them. In comes a rescue party. All of the changelings, the Sidhe nobility including Ronan, who Roz made quite a connection with , and more come riding to the rescue. I fell in love with Roz and her snarky attitude, while Ronan is a hero for the ages.

I do suggest reading in order, as this book has more than enough heat and plenty of action that builds off the first book. This is not intended for young reader. But before it gets into the romance we go to Colleen and Duncan's wedding from book 1. The wedding is interrupted by Demon's out to kill the 3 witches and the Sidhe. Roz pretty much takes charge in the battle I actually love Roz's character. She is a tough girl. She takes charge in just about every situation. I really love when a writer makes a tough but fun woman. This book really has several hot and steamy, down and dirty sex scenes.

If that is not your thing you may want to be prepared to skip some pages or find another series.

I have to be honest I liked this book better than book one. Which is weird usually the second book doesn't hold a candle to the original book. Can't wait to get book 3 read to see if it takes me over the moon. His first love was a human woman in a time where women were subservient.

Roz will never be so docile, but Ronin thinks he Demon Assassins Book Two Roxanne "Roz" Lantry has had several failed relationships in the past, so when Ronin, the head of the Sidhe, presses his suit she is reluctant to start over. Roz will never be so docile, but Ronin thinks he likes it. When Roz and her friends are taken to the demon borderworld, Ronin will stop at nothing to get her back.

If you wanted to see how the other demon-hunting witches were doing, this is the book for you! The story of Roz and Ronin is good and tantalizing and exciting. However, the constant fight with the Irichna in this book was so intense, heart stopping and fast passed, that I just could not put the book down. I am so glad they all came out on the other side with all in tacked. I wonder if Ronin will be able to convince the other Sidhe to join forces with the Dark Fae, in order to win this battle with the Irichna.

I feel bad for Jenna who is still alone, but trust she will find her love in the next book. Definitely, a must read. My review is based on the Audiobook. Book 2 starts right where book 1 stops. I really like how this book still involves all of the same characters as the first with a few additions however it just shifts focus to Roz. Hollie Jackson as narrator truly brings these characters to life and I would not hesitate to buy any book she narrates - she's awesome and I am quite picky when it comes to narrators.

Witch's Bane picks up where Witch's Bounty left off. Right in time for Duncan and Colleen's wedding.

It's Roz's story and she can be a bit brash and prickly. She is attracted to Ronin, Duncan's big-shot fae friend, but doesn't want to admit it. There are so many demon attacks it's amazing that they found the time to fall in love. I absolutely love badass witches that don't need a man, but can make a relationship work with the right one. I voluntarily reviewed this book and loved it.

As their fellow witches have fallen prey to demons, the three have become sisters in spirit and a demon fighting team that is stronger than the sum of its parts. Troubled by the scale of the attack, the sisters and small band of supporters from both witches and sidhe decide to return to Alaska.

As the attacks escalate and losses mount, both sides are forced to consider alliances to bridge ancient hostilities in the face of a greater threat to supernaturals and humans alike. In parallel, Roz and Ronin battle the scars of their own pasts that threaten the fragile beginnings of their relationship. The wedding alone introduced witches, the Faerie Queen Titania, immortal sidhe, demons, and a gnome-like shape-shifting changeling. But this is where having a writer who knows so much about people really pays off.

Ann Gimpel paints remarkably three-dimensional pictures of each character, which would be terrific in itself. But she goes on to show us their quirks, plus the flaws that led to past mistakes and current misunderstandings. Sometimes the things that have given characters their strengths—the independence and self-reliance that make Roz and Ronin into leaders for example—are the very things that threaten to prevent them from committing to a future together.

Although the characters still face a huge demonic threat, this book is fully capable of standing on its own, with a satisfying resolution to this segment. I would not only give it four stars, but urge Ann Gimpel to hurry up with the next book. Witches Colleen and Roz have met their fated mates, but their sister Jenna is still alone.

And, of course, there are all those demons just begging to be stalked. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. The characters are great and Witch's Bane: The characters are great and well developed; even the secondary characters makes the story more entertaining.

I really couldn't stop turning the page till the end. I really enjoyed every chapter in this book each chapter keeps you on the edge of your seat, the excitement just increases in this book and it made it easier to relate to storyline. There's never a boring moment while reading this. Ann Gimpel is a very creative, talented, and awesome author and If I wasn't already a Fan for life after this series I would be. Roz is feeling envy, a little jealous and down. Because she has had a couple of bad marriages and been with a few losers. She really wishes Colleen to be happy.

But Roz is secretly attracted to Ronin. Ronin is a Daoine Sidhe. But he what he wants is Roz. But when he tried to use magic on her she caught him and call him on it. D I have always love reading Ann Gimpel books, you can tell she puts her heart and soul into her writing. This author phoned it in and it got the best connection ever and her series are always phenomenal, they are well written, creative, the characters are well developed, what I'm saying is they are all a excellent read. This series is well pace, form just right and well executed. This is a captivating mature storyline, entertaining characters and the greatest fantasy.

You will want and be happy to pay the price to read this series!

Witch's Bane

Yep, each storyline in this collection is fantastic entertainment. Because Ann Gimpel is a creative author who knows that there are readers like me who love for her stories to continue and hate for them to end I Highly Recommended to Readers who like romance and love to be romantic. This series gives readers this so surely they will enjoy this one as I did. I received this book from Ann Gimpel for an honest opinion in a review and I love to communicate with other readers.

If this is not the kind of stuff you like to read, skip this book. However, if you're a fan of all things naughty, sexual tension, action and humor, this is perfect for you. You don't want to miss this series! This is a great book to add to your TBR list. If you believe in the world of paranormal romance, the possibilities are endless and fascinating! Wow This was a great ride. I was on the edge of my seat and could not put the book down.

Love how Roz is a kick-ass witch assassin, who was happy for her sister witch getting married. But not so much because she wanted what her friend has. Roz is feisty, fierce, and strong. She's jealous of Colleen's happiness and secretly lusts for Ronin, another Daoine Sidhe. Her interactions with Ronin are hot and sexually charged. Feelings are outwardly denied and inwardly acknowledged, makes having a relationship just a tad difficult. If the two of them could just find a balance allowing them to be together yet still remain who they are individually. Witch's Bane develops our favorite trio of demon-stalking witches even more plus we get to learn about the Sidhe.

I love the character development and the continued world building. Things definitely are not any easier in Witch's Bane, in fact, I almost thing they are a bit worse.
