It's no surprise to read that Black is Welsh's favourite Scottish writer. This was a great read. It was over all too soon! One of the very few books I have been unable to finish reading,relies on bad language and ridiculous rhyming slang,even tho the chief character claims to hate Londoners. Strongly suspect I will feel the same way about the other two books I already purchased by this author. Tony Black is one of my favourites. I love crime stories set in Scotland and this one didn't disappoint. I couldn't put it down and then was really annoyed that I read it too fast.
