After all, we are sinners and imperfect by nature, and we should not use our flaws as excuses for not doing what God calls us to do. As a final comment, I don't know if "heroes" is the proper word to use in the title, as the 28 men and women chronicled in this book were for the most part ordinary people. Book Reivew: 'Fools, Liars, Cheaters, and Other Bible Heroes'

This isn't one of those books where it has the dirty parts of the bible. This is about average people who do things that have big effects. Take Ruth, a simple act of living with her Mother in Law inspires many. Take Leah, the second fiddle. Each story has an analysis in case you miss the point, which I did.

The analysis really helps put these tales into perspective. This is a short book, but it's loaded with story, explanation and detail. Th There are more heroes than anything else in this book.
