How to Seduce an Angel in 10 Days (10 Days Series)

Of course I know the answer to those questions, but if I told you Like I said, I'll be grabbing up the other books in this series because now I'm really curious about the backstory that laid the plot out for this story. All she wants to do is forget about her past and move on with her life and settle down with a nice warlock. Unfortunately the only one she has ever wanted is none other than her best friend's brother, Falcon, the newly minted Cupid. Problem is that he is quite possibly the worst cupi Review originally posted on my blog: Problem is that he is quite possibly the worst cupid ever in that he doesn't believe in love.

It's up to Tally to convince him otherwise before it's too late for both of them. In fact not a single one faded to the background. However, that being said a few characters stuck out a bit more than others, specifically the main couple and a demon named Ethelred. I'll focus more on the couple in the next paragraph, but for now I want to feature Ethelred. I really really loved this character. He was just so complex as he definitely had the bad boy evil thing going on since he's a demon. But there also was a whole lot more below the surface.

Despite him being on the side of evil, he actually seemed to care about Tally's fate, and while his methods involved some "tough love" he still worked rather hard to help her build her confidence. I really hated the way things turn out for him and I'm hoping there will be another book in this series featuring him as I would love to see him get his happy ever after. Getting to Falcon and Tally. I really loved these two. I've always had a soft spot for stories where the heroine has secretly loved the hero since childhood.

There's just something to be said about how the hero's life gets turned completely upside down once he notices the heroine as a female, and not just another one of the guys. I just enjoy watching the guy fall all over himself with lust and then of course watching that lust slowly transform in to love. As far as Falcon, it was obvious early on that he was head over heels for Tally, especially since he wasn't afraid of her.

And trust me he had VERY good reason to be, specifically in the sex department. I also loved that he was quite possibly the worst cupid ever. I just got a real kick out of picturing him during one of his drunk moments donning his pink wings. I couldn't help the snickers.

He went through a lot of growth in this book, but I was really impressed with him in the end. However, Tally was the one who really shone as her growth was incredible. She had a lifetime of insecurity to overcome, and I couldn't be more proud of the way she finally started to find herself. In my opinion, this type of theme in a romance book where the couple has to overcome their own obstacles, to be the best kind of romance there is. It just gives the reader a feeling that the characters have truly accomplished something together that will last, and leaves them with a very satisfied feeling.

As much as I love this series, I do have to admit that the world building is a little bit cumbersome at times. There's just so many different characters and sides that made it a bit difficult to follow as I tried to remember their roles from the previous books.

Considering how humorous the story is, the "clutter" did detract a bit from the light-heartedness. Between the numerous oh so yummy steamy moments to the laugh out loud hilarity, this book is a delight. Saranna DeWylde is steadily working up my list of go-to authors with every book she releases! Tally has such low self esteem that she hides behind her sassy wit and pure sex appeal.

Now she has even less belief in her story including herself being happy. He refuses to fail where she is concerned, even if that means in the end he might die himself. Tally was a strong female character but her self esteem was holding her back. As she and Falcon got closer she started to realize the kind of power she had and how she could use it to finally make amends for her past.

Learning to be selfless without regard for yourself was a central theme and happiness was the reward. Tally and Falcon definitely have some hot scenes but what I enjoyed most about them was that their relationship was born out of a life long friendship that they shared. Falcon, for as much he resisted, sure experienced every feeling a man in a relationship would feel right down to the bone deep jealousy regarding Ethelred.

A smoldering hero complete with pretty pink wings who needs to embrace life, a heroine who is stronger then she gives herself credit for and a supporting cast of characters who pop off the page. Hilarity ensues and I found myself laughing at the hijinx Tally experiences along her journey. Not many authors can work in a 5 foot tall walking, talking vajazzeled vajayjay into a book and make it work. Jul 16, Cassandra rated it it was amazing Shelves: This book is delicious! I honestly am in love with this book, and this author! I would read it again, and again, and again! Feb 20, Christi Snow rated it really liked it. This is 3 in this series, but these books work as stand-alones. I haven't read the other two in the series, although I will admit to being tempted by them several times. This book is number three in the series and the My Review: This book is number three in the series and the characters sound like they have been VERY involved in the story lines of the other two novels and are now living with the consequences of those events.

For Tally, she's a pariah among her people. An evil infested her in the last book and she killed several people, some whom she loved dearly. It was all worked out, but no one trusts her now. One of those she killed was Falcon, one of her oldest and dearest friends. He's since come back, but now he's Cupid Falcon and Tally have been friends for a long time and they've circled around their attraction for just about as long, but when the powers that be put Falcon in charge of Tally's probation, that puts them in prolonged contact with each other This is a fabulously fun world.

Falcon is one of three triplets, so we have all those sexy guys. His sister and Tally's best friend just married another super-sexy guy. Falcon is Tally's parole officer on the angelic side, but she also has a parole officer from the hellish side too There's a whole lot of sexy going around It's definitely a fun book.

But the flip side of that is Tally. This is a girl who's never had an easy go in life and isn't so sure that she deserves it. She's overcome with guilt over what happened before, even though it truly wasn't her fault. She doesn't feel like she deserves love and watching her overcome that through this book was fabulous.

I loved watching her develop. It truly is a fabulous book. I enjoyed every single minute of reading it and can't wait to read the other two in the series. I received a complimentary copy of this book in return for an honest review. Mar 09, Toni rated it really liked it Shelves: How to Seduce an Angel in 10 Days is an entertaining addition to the 10 Days series. Tally is having a crappy life. She is a loser in love, a pariah to her people and now a parolee.

She has ten days to prove she is worthy of a second chance. Ten long days to be cooped up with a male that has always owned her heart, but has always viewed her as a little sister. Ten days for her life to be altered forever. Falcon is having a crappy life too. But that is what his life has become; living in pastels and sparkles. He is now being forced into the position of parole officer to a woman he has always desired. How can a Crown Prince of Heaven slake his desire for the one woman he always wanted when it is a big no-no?

Their ten days together is a learning experience for both of them. It is full of revelations and discoveries, desires and disappointments. These two troubled souls will defy what is expected of them and will discover what love is all about. While I rate this the same as the prior book, How to Marry a Warlock in 10 days, I have to say I may have actually liked it more. I like the slight direction change that Ms. DeWylde has decided to take. It was very nicely balanced and reads very smoothly. How to Seduce an Angel is wonderful light read with tons of heart.

I especially like that we were visited by prior characters and their stories were intertwined a bit. Not in an overpowering way, but I can feel that Ms.

DeWylde is setting up future novels. I am definitely adding the 10 Days series to my must read list.

I have enjoyed everything about them. These novels have a lighthearted feeling to them along with whimsical humor, practical plots and appealing characters; a winning combination! This is a vividly entertaining series. My only issue was that since it was third in the 10 Days series, I was missing out on a lot of plot that happened in the two previous books, which made the story a little hard to get into.

Luckily, there was a cute main couple, great supporting characters and lots of laughs to keep me interested. Tally and Falcon are an adorable couple. And though it is obvious that in the end Falcon will be the guy for Tally, it is fun to watch all the other guys she interacts with along the way. While there is information given about what happened, why, and what the results were, it was still not all very clear and I found myself making a lot of conjectures.

And I would like to take a moment and say, really- Falcon? Several graphic sex scenes, sensuality Too bad her Heavenly Parole Officer is none other than the heart bandit himself--the newly appointed Cupid and current fixture in all her fantasies, Falcon Cherrywood. He can't think of anything more humiliating than flying around in pink wings shooting arrows into hopeless fools.

Archery was never his strong suit and Falcon doesn't even believe in love. But more troubling are the feelings his sinfully irresistible parolee sets off in him--for only Tally has the power to make him believe in things better left to fairy tales, like Happily Ever After.
