The collection is arranged into ten series: The first series, Personal and Biographical , is a small series containing biographies, materials Revueltas collected about his family members, financial and legal documents, materials related to the condition of his health after his release from Lecumberri prison, and honors and awards received by Revueltas.

The second series, Correspondence , contains letters written and received by Revueltas. The series is divided into 2 subseries: Alphabetical Correspondence and Correspondence by Date The majority of the correspondents are his family members with the bulk of the letters coming from fourteen years of correspondence with Olivia Peralta from Correspondents also include publishers and professional and political organizations Revueltas was associated with during his lifetime.

The third series, Written Works , comprises the bulk of the collection at 22 linear feet and includes manuscripts, scripts, writing notes, outlines, and clippings. The series is divided into 18 subseries, the titles and arrangement of which are based on Revueltas' original labels and groupings. Andrea Revueltas and her husband, Philippe Cheron, released new editions of Revueltas' works after his death.

Their work and notes can be found mixed in with Revueltas' original work. The fourth series, Activities and Organizations , includes materials created and collected by Revueltas in relation to his political activities, his involvement with a number of professional organizations, his teaching career, and his work for the Secretary of Public Education.

The fifth series, Contact Information and Calendars , is comprised of business cards, address books, agenda books, and calendars. The sixth series, Photographs and Audiovisual Material s , contains both professional photographs and family photographs of Revueltas from the s as well as photographs of family members, various individuals, and various locations. Audiotapes include recording readings of Revueltas' written works, lectures given by Revueltas at Berkeley in , and an interview with Olivia Peralta.

The seventh series, Collected Materials , consists of clippings and publications both by Revueltas and others.

José Revueltas Papers, 1906-2010

The majority of the clippings and publications were collected by Revueltas about various subjects of interest. The rest of the series consists of various materials collected by Revueltas. The eighth series, Olivia Peralta Revueltas Papers , consists of the personal papers of Revueltas' first wife, Olivia Peralta. The series consists of diaries written by Peralta from , correspondence, photographs, and various materials. The ninth series, Andrea Revueltas , includes materials created and collected by Revueltas' daughter, Andrea Revueltas.

The first subseries, Personal and Biographical, consists of materials Andrea Revueltas collected about her family members including her father and her uncle, Silvestre Revueltas. The second subseries, Correspondence, includes personal and professional correspondence. The tenth series, Oversized Material , consists of oversized materials including posters, photographs, scrapbooks, and clippings.

Fabrizio Mas was born in Lima, Peru. He has had instruction in different forms of art, but he is mainly a writer and a translator. As a writer, he has been published a number of times in literary magazines like Os Fazedores de Letras Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon, Portugal. His most recent work is included in an anthology of young Latin American writers called Apuntes Sudacas Ayni—Cooperativa Editorial, , which will be published this year in Barcelona, Spain.

He is currently working on a book of short stories and on a translation, from Portuguese into Spanish, of a Brazilian writer and composer. He is also part of an art collective in Peru called Sapos y Culebras. Besides his literary work, he has also worked as a scriptwriter for shortfilms in Peru, combining his work as a writer with his interest in cinema. She studied literature and creative writing at the universities of Delhi, Warwick, and East Anglia, where she was awarded the Malcolm Bradbury continuation grant for poetry. She is one of the social media managers for Asymptote and works as an editor in Delhi.

Professionally, she specializes in subtitling, academic translation and localization, but she has also translated more than 15 book titles, including The Marriage of Heaven and Hell by William Blake, a novel by Patrick McCabe, a comic by Alison Bechdel and books on literary theory by Northrop Frye. She lives in Brno, Czech Republic. She was born in South Africa and raised in Greece. She has worked as a freelance translator for over five years. Rosy D'Souza is a poet, translator, teacher and a development professional and cofounder of Sunoh, an online radio station. His poetry translations have appeared in several anthologies of literature in Indian languages and in journals such as Poetry Internetional , Circumference , Indian Literature , Caravan and The Little Magazine , among others. He has just completed translation of two novels by Poomani, the distinguished chronicler of subaltern lives, and is currently translating a collection of short stories by Salma.
