Please try again later. I really enjoyed how the Biblical story of Jonah becomes what happens to Jonah in this book. Such a well written story and it's amazing to read how the Stone kids have grown up. The only part about this book that was different for me was that Jonah was away from his siblings for half the story since he dealt with his grief in isolation. Also, there was VERY little angel involvement in this book. The kids have to rely on each other more in every situation. Loved how the story ended and that Jonah made peace with his dad.

In the beginning, Jonah was half believing in God, or Elohim. By the middle of the story, he was actually starting to turn to Abbadon, but thankfully, God led him straight. By the end of the book,he was fully believing in God. This book is really like the story of Jonah, the Jonah from the Bible.

I recommend this book to year-olds. Please get this book! If you enjoy stories that have lots of action, are exciting to read, and through it all depict the power, might, and love of God, then the Son of Angels series is perfect. I highly recommend it for youth to adults. Take a step, read the books, and enter a world in which the real fight is going on, the spirit realm.

My son loves these books! He is 13 and loves to read. They can be pretty intense so be sure your child is ready for them. I purchased the whole series for my son as a Christmas gift and he loves them. I have read the first book and even an adult can enjoy this series. Son of Angels series is the perfect series for children who love the Percy Jackson books but are looking for a Christian alternative: This fourth book is an emotional battle on each page as young Jonah Stone parallels some of the discisions made by his name sake. Jerel Law remains a solid author with some very different stories to tell.

Kindle Edition Verified Purchase. This is the third in a series of older children - YA books. The stone children and several others are going to "angel" school to learn how to use their angel weapons like drawing an invisible arrow to shoot at the evil ones. They also have special spiritual gifts such as speed running or strength.

What I like is the realistic part for these quarter angels a human parent and a half angel parent who have real life temptations. The falling to these temptations and subsequent repentance gives a dose of reality to this genre of writing. I am a somewhat older adult and found this book beyond delightful and full of twists that would keep even the most die-hard thriller reader happy.

Worth the time to read it. I like that the book was so meaningful and enchanting. This book has helped me to discover many things about the bible and Elohim.

Thank you Jerel Law for this amazing series and I'm looking forward to it when you write more books! Always know that Elohim is with you as well as Jonah. My favorite gift is Jerimiah's Belt of Truth. I gave the book 5 stars because the way it was written gave me such a clear picture in my mind and I sometimes even felt like Eliza or Jonah. I am not Andre, he's my dad. I'm Kiara, 11 years old. Good luck on your path with Elohim! This book is the saddest of the series.

Jonah is tested in unbelievable ways and he is not the hero in this book. He never loses faith, but he definitely questions himself in this story and how he will press on.

At the same time, he is able to learn much more about Elohim and how to trust Him more. This story resembles the book of Job in the Old Testament, but it was challenging to read how Jonah suffers. Great story and such a pleasure to see more of the Stone siblings adventure: I purchased the whole series for my son as a Christmas gift and he loves them.

I have read the first book and even an adult can enjoy this series. Very well written series that is interesting and compelling reading whether one is a youth or an adult. I highly recommend this series. This book is really good, although it is kind of sad in the end. Jonah really actually starts to understand God in a way that not many people understand I certainly don't!
