The Phraya Nakhon Cave with the famous Kuha Karuhas pavilion built in it, is one of the major attractions of the park. The provincial capital Prachuap Khiri Khan is much less developed and quieter than Hua Hin and makes for a great day trip.

It is located on a lovely bay full of fishing boats with several islands visible in the distance. Right next to the beach is a small mountain named Khao Chong Krachok where large number of monkeys live. On top of the mountain is a temple named Wat Thammikaram. Getting to the temple requires a long and rather steep climb of about steps. Once on top the views of the city, the beaches and the bay are magnificent and make the climb worthwhile. Getting to Prachuap Khiri Khan is easy, there are multiple ways to get there.

The most comfortable is by private taxi, most hotels can arrange one for you. Make sure you agree on the price and destination before setting off.
