Her parents and uncle were journalists, so writing is apparently an inherited trait. Jul 03, Danielle rated it liked it. For some reason I could not get excited with the two main characters in this book. I liked the dog Harley out of all of the characters,a dog.
Interest picked up a little as Jaime and Josh were introduced and Macy was offered a job in New York. Overall it did get better but it took a little effort to stay the course. I was quickly invested in what happened for Macy and Blake but about halfway through they were already in love and the conflict seemed to be missing the actual conflict part.
Also, some of the dialogue seemed very stilted and didn't match what I expected from the characters after the beginning of the book.

I enjoyed the storytelling and loved Harley. The end of the book was just a little too fairy tale for me. I was also thrown by the number of word choices that were missed.
