All about Montpelier for Kids

Primary and Intermediate are like parts one and two of an epic film or book, don't miss out on either one!! Vinyasa is a way of being. Classes link yoga poses and transitions with ujjayi breath to create a unique flow. Postures vary from class to class so there is always a new challenge and some class favorites. The sweat, harmony, breath, balance and blissful after taste remain the same.

Music is typically played in these classes. Yin yoga is complementary to any active physical practice.

We focus on creating space in the joints of the body to allow for tissue openings and stability. Yin yoga emphasizes creating mobility in the tendons and ligaments. Poses are held for a longer period of time than in a vinyasa or Ashtanga practice, allowing the body to explore these openings and the mind to explore energetic connections. This is a relaxing and meditative practice with deep physical and mental benefits.

Kids Yoga is the class every yogi should take. Every week class opens and closes with a short mediation and chant.

La Grand Motte is also on the bus routes. It's got lovely beach backed by restaurants and has lots of childrens amusements and bouncing castles etc. If you get a rainy day very unlikely , take the blue line tram out to Odysseum to the Aquarium and Planetarium. My children like to run around here chasing birds, while we get a chance to admire the architecture! Sounds like you like Montpellier a lot.

We spent a day there last year and decided to come back and see more as it seemed like such an interesting place.

Montpelier Gives Back

Glad also that you said unlikely about having a rainy day! I guess coming from the UK you always have to plan for them! Yes I love it. We spend a lot of time in the area, we have a holiday home in Aigues Mortes , just out the road. Wish I were there now, have to wait until August! Have a great time.
