Although each lesson stands on its own, it is better to teach them in order, as the techniques being explored become progressively more difficult. About Art A La Carte: This unit revisits the lessons taught in Nature's Beauty. Each lesson details step-by-step directions involving easy-to-draw shapes such as circles, ovals, letter shapes and clouds to create an image.

This allows students to make mistakes and practice the various techniques insuring a better final product. Although each lesson stands on its own, they are best taught in order as several techniques are explored and evolve in difficulty. Finally, an art unit that utilizes a method of presenting lessons that will allow even the most uncertain individual to have success with art. The lessons contained in this unit are very open-ended and adapt well to integration with math. Concepts such as symmetry, parallel lines, converging lines, tangents, geometric shapes, fractional parts and angles can all be introduced, explored, and made part of each lesson.

Each lesson details step-by-step directions, often involving easy-to-use geometric templates or "tracers" to create an image. These step-by-step, guided art lessons impart the basic styles and shapes used by each culture as well as exploring the special use of color, particular to each culture.

This art unit is based upon the artistic premise that all artists make use of some basic shapes when developing an image. The lessons are based upon letters and shapes that students learn about on an ongoing basis. One preferred strategy is for the teacher to demonstrate each step, with the students following his or her example. It is suggested that the teachers make large samples of each template, and then physically manipulate these templates to build creatures or characters.

The room was comfortable and in perfect conditions. She left some chocolates for me and it is these little details that shows me their concern towards their guest. Breakfast was not included, but there was always orange juice, soy milk, cookies and cereal in case I felt thirsty or hungry. I would definitely come back here again.

Picked us up from airport at 1 in the morning. Total absence of privacy in the bathroom - it has no ceiling. Tiny shower cabin - not even the skinniest adult can fit in and raise arms to wash hair. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired - dust everywhere. Excellent location and a super friendly host. Best hostes you can imagine! Hope to see you again soon. This is a hidden gem in the heart of Montreal, wonderful location, beautifully maintained BnB. Very clean and a lot of free and healthy snacks topped by a freshly prepared breakfast lot of choices to choose from the options every morning.

I didn't feel comfortable on some of the streets nearby. The kindness and hospitality of the staff, the cooked breakfast and the kitchen area for snacks, tea and coffee. The Metro was close and it is walking distance from town without being in the centre of the hustle and bustle. The bathroom in a largest room was a little hard to reach- had some stairs to access.

Not an issue for me, but we had to be careful. Room was beautifully decorated, spotless clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location is great as there are bars and restaurants within walking distance as well as the metro station. The breakfast was very good, cheese crepes were for sure my favourite. Last but not least, Yoyo the host was really nice and helpful making us feel very welcome. It was a pleasure to stay at her place. I would definitely recommend it and would for sure choose the same place if we were to be back in Montreal. Nice garden area at rear where we enjoyed sumptuous breakfasts.

The breakfast really good and a lot of things. Big Tv in the room, fridge, little kitchen just outside the room with microwave. Appreciated the breakfast take away when we left the room really early.
