Boldly Live! Empowerment Lessons from Star Trek (Trek Factor Book 2)

On the way Zhang's forces were largely destroyed by the forces of Chiang Kai-shek and his Chinese Muslim allies, the Ma clique. The remnants of Zhang's forces later rejoined elements of the Second Red Army before eventually linking up with Mao's forces in Shaanxi. For retribution Chiang Kai-Shek had He Long's relatives executed, including three sisters and a brother. Xiao Ke's force would link up with He Long and his army, but lost communication with the First Army that came behind.

It was at this point that Li Zhen 's unit was assigned to He Long's command, having already served in the Sixth Corps. He Long and Xiao Ke were married to sisters who also accompanied the army. He Long's wife, Jian Xianren, carried the baby daughter she had given birth to three weeks before the retreat began. Jian Xianfo gave birth to a son in the desolate swamps of northern Sichuan. All along the way, the Communist Army confiscated property and weapons from local warlords and landlords, while recruiting peasants and the poor.

Nevertheless, only some 8, troops under Mao's command, the First Front Army, ultimately made it to the final destination of Yan'an in Of these, less than 7, were among the original , soldiers who had started the march. A variety of factors contributed to the losses including fatigue , hunger and cold, sickness, desertion, and military casualties.

During the retreat, membership in the party fell from , to around 40, Following a major reshuffling of official roles, Mao became the chairman of the Military Commission, with Zhou and Deng Xiaoping as vice-chairmen. This marked Mao's position as the pre-eminent leader of the Party, with Zhou in a position second to Mao. Both Mao and Zhou would retain their positions until their deaths, in It also was vital in helping the CCP to gain a positive reputation among the peasants due to the determination and dedication of the surviving participants of the Long March.

Mao wrote in The Long March is a manifesto. It has proclaimed to the world that the Red Army is an army of heroes, while the imperialists and their running dogs, Chiang Kai-shek and his like, are impotent. It has proclaimed their utter failure to encircle, pursue, obstruct and intercept us. The Long March is also a propaganda force. It has announced to some million people in eleven provinces that the road of the Red Army is their only road to liberation.

In addition, policies ordered by Mao for all soldiers to follow, the Eight Points of Attention , instructed the army to avoid harm to or disrespect for the peasants, in spite of the desperate need for food and supplies. This policy won support for the Communists among the rural peasants. Hostilities ceased while the Nationalists and Chinese Communists formed a nominal alliance during the Second Sino-Japanese War from until During these years, the Chinese Communist Party persevered and strengthened its influence.

The Red Army fought a disciplined and organized guerilla campaign [34] against superior Japanese forces, allowing it to gain experience. Since the establishment of the People's Republic of China in , the Long March has been glorified as an example of the Communist Party's strength and resilience. The Chinese government produced a movie in , My Long March , [35] [36] relating personal experiences of a fictional participant in the Long March.

The Long March is surrounded by conflicting accounts of what occurred. Some critics and researchers call the earlier accounts myths, but find that they are difficult to prove or disprove because the Chinese government prevents independent historians from exploring the topic. The few who were able to perform research recently struggle with the fact that many years have gone by since the march took place.

Many of the survivors are no longer alive or able to accurately recall events. Jocelyn and McEwen conclude in their book that "Mao and his followers twisted the tale of the Long March for their own ends. Mao's role was mythologized to the point where Mao exaggerated, perhaps even doubled, the length of the march, they believe. The Battle of Luding Bridge has been portrayed as a glorious and heroic moment in Chinese Communist history, analogous to the Texan Battle of the Alamo. The official account of the battle depicts exhausted and depleted Communist forces in a desperate situation, where they must fight across a bridge that is guarded by the numerically superior forces of Chiang Kai-shek and his warlord allies.

The Communists send a small volunteer force that braves a hail of gunfire to climb across the bridge on underlying chains and assault the enemy positions on the other side, hence securing the bridgehead for the rest of the army to cross. However, there is evidence that differs from the official account of the battle. This suggests that much of the fighting was dramatized, by Communist leaders, for propaganda purposes. Authors Andrew McEwen and Ed Jocelyn who retraced the route of the Long March, interviewing survivors along the way, said that a woman in her early 80s recalled that local people led the way across the bridge and were all shot and killed.

They panicked and fled. The writer Sun Shuyun writes that generations of Chinese have been taught a glorious account of the Long March in order to justify Mao's Revolution: The message has been drilled into us so that we can accomplish any goal set before us by the party because nothing compares in difficulty with what they did. Decades after the historical one, we have been spurred on to ever more Long Marches — to industrialize China, to feed the largest population in the world, to catch up with the West, to reform the socialist economy, to send men into space, to engage with the 21st century.

October marked the 70th anniversary of the end of the Long March. Dozens of newly released, government approved books were displayed in bookstores, with the intention of showing the heroic actions and drama of the Long March. Chinese television presented "a feast of Long March-themed entertainment, including a part drama series, documentaries, and even a song-and-dance extravaganza. Commentators in the West more often focus on aspects of the Long March rarely portrayed by Chinese propaganda, such as the Red Army recruiting local people through kidnapping and blackmail.

This veteran only joined the Red Army because his father was arrested by the Communists and would not be released until the man agreed to join the army. The man later thought of deserting, but stayed on because he feared being caught and executed. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. For other uses, see Long March disambiguation.

The greatest strategic retreat in military history turned Mao into a living legend. Well, that's the way it's presented in our propaganda. We needed that to express the fighting spirit of our forces. In fact, it was a very easy military operation.

There wasn't really much to it. The other side were just some troops of the warlord who were armed with old muskets and it really wasn't that much of a feat, but we felt we had to dramatize it. After years of trying every depression medication on the market, I am trying to devote more time to other modes of healing in addition to medication.

Self care is number one on the list! Yoga is a great way to get back in touch with my body after years of disordered eating and exercising. I have followed the rules all my life and lost sight of being authentic. Thank you, Adriene, for being a partner in healing. How true your comments are to myself as well… Ive just completed day 1 of the day yoga challenge and I loved it.. Your comment really resonated with me, MelissaRN7. I love your yoga series! I enjoy running and going to the gym, but with lupus it can be hard to stick with a routine.

I started this 30 day yoga plan when I was very depressed. I lost my son 1 yr. I started yoga to try and peace. Thank you for helping, when I needed a lifeline. Hi did you look in promotions or spam foler? I found they sometime went into mine. Dear Adriene, I have been trying to get in touch with you since long.

I am from India and i follow your youtube channel religiously. Juz want to thank you for being my mentor. U are an inspiration to many. There are host of ways where one can learn yoga but the way you teach is second to none. I feel the truth and simplicity in your videos and it inspires me a lot. I really like the way you describe the nitty gritties of each pose. I appreciate the depth in your talks. In small sentences you speak volumes.

My body has been awakened. Adriene do you do any other exercise or only yoga…. Thank you so much! I absolutely detest exercise but enjoy yoga! I have a little weight to loose but thankfully not a lot but desperately need to tone and strengthen my back as I have psoriatic arthritis! I have done a 6 wk beginners class in yoga a couple months ago so which video do you think I should start with? Adriene, thank you s o much for helping me find yoga! I entered the 30 days challenge a little while ago and i have really found it to be a part of my life that I cherish!

I was curious about your routine as well! I started my journey with you 2 years ago. From 30 days of Yoga, to Yoga Camp, and now Revolution I have watched you grow and seen your physical transformation. Basically… Adriene, your skin glows lady! She looks so healthy and happy! Hi Adriana, I decided I wanted to try Yoga, bought myself a mat, searched YouTube for videos and came across your channel. I am doing your 30 days of yoga at the moment, and totally loving it! I hate cardio exercise.

I have a rowing machine and used to row for 20 — 30 minutes a day only to soothe my conscience. I exercise because I have to. But yoga is the first form of exercise that I actually do enjoy and I MAKE time for my daily video, instead of fishing for excuses not to exercise. What is your opinion on that? Would you say doing one of your videos per day is enough? Or how much would you suggest per day? Hi Adrienne thanks for some wonderful yoga videos that I could do at my desk john Ireland. Hi Adrienne, thank you very much for sharing your work with us. I would love to share them with my sister who does not speak English.

Hi Adrienne, I want to thank you for helping me start my yoga practice again through your videos. I am almost 59 years old. I find your style very easy to follow. I love your videos I have been watching them since I started my post pregnancy a little over a year ago! Only videos I could find that I actually looked forward to keeping up with every morning: I am pregnant again and I do wish you had prenatal yoga videos or a short tips video!

And thank you as well for being so present, available, friendly, cheerful, instructional, pretty, bright and accessible on YouTube. Your video teachings are a daily favorite, my new multivitamin! Have a great day today. I appreciate your work, your passion, your message and approach. Day 7 — I am capable: I can check off this accomplishment. Wishing you the best…. My mom is an avid yogi who was diagnosed with breast cancer and recently started treatment. She is often unable to go into a yoga studio due to her susceptibility to sickness.

As a result, Yoga with Adriene has been her go to since treatment started! Thanks so much for continuing to create such great content and bringing yoga to everyone. I finished treatment for breast cancer just under a year ago. The chemo gave me awful pains in my lower spine and down the back of my right leg. Many thanks Adriene from a fan here in the UK. I used to really enjoy my YWA daily sessions but have got out of the groove and really need to get it back.

The lack of sleep and headaches that seem to have come with chemotherapy are exhausting and probably caused by tension so TODAY is the day to get back to the mat and do something positive about it. Hey Adriene I really enjoy your videos and I have seen a real transformation in me. I absolutely love the way you keep the real yoga alive, by not focussing too much about the physical. So I would absolutely love it if you could check them out.

Adriene, Thank you very much for every video and every moment you remind us to breath, smile and be present. Adriene, I heard that there is such a thing as Thyroid Yoga. Poses that balance the Thyroid function. Do you know anything about that? If yes, could you please guide me to find it? Just completed 30 days of yoga and I absolutely loved it!! Good way to start as a beginner. Looking forward to doing more! Ever do classes out East? Thank you so much for creating these videos and for allowing me to see that yoga is not just exercise.

I used to dread having to exercise but wanted to lose weight. Your videos made it fun and let me connect with my inner self. Also, it helped me to quit smoking. Love the moves and groves from one broke down nurse physically, you give me the courage to push a little further and keep coming back for more.

Hi Adriene, first of all thanks for your video. And I have insomnia, since my mom died, I find it so hard to sleep at night, I always go to bed no earlier than 12pm and wake up exhausted the next day. But after following your Yoga for Beginners video for a week, my sleeping cycles got better, my body feels awesome, and the best part is I find practicing yoga brings me calmness but also energy and strength. Is it because I started at the age of over 25?

Or am I doing it wrong? I used to think yoga was very hard to nail but now it seems really easy. Thanks for your guidance. Hi Adriene, I just recently found your videos and have started the 30 days series. I also seem to get very dizzy in all the inverted postures. My question is two fold:. Will this go away eventually? Other than that, I just wanted to say thank you for your resources, time, positivity and encouragement. You really are a great teacher and coach! I especially love the yoga tea.

Do you have any teacher training programs that you would personally endorse? After seeing your videos, I have developed a love for Yoga where it is no more boring but really interesting. I admire you a lot and the way you conduct your classes. Thanks for sharing them to us all. I have really enjoyed your yoga series, but am now pregnant and having difficulty with some of the videos.

Could you do a prenatal series? I would love to continue yoga through my pregnancy. Hi Kris, Adriene created a Prenatal program with her friend Hilah a few years ago. You can try out this video here. The series is available to purchase in the shop here or you can stream it as part of the FWFG Yoga membership. Best wishes to you and your family! I am hoping all is well with you. I acknowledged that you are an extremely busy person but I thought of trying to get in touch with you.

This is really helpful, thank you very much for your generosity of allowing the world to have access to free wellness. Some movements could definitely exacerbate your chest pain while you still have Costochondritis. Gentle stretching is probably best until the inflammation goes down. Be careful of asanas and positions that come from your chest. Less expansive stretching of your chest will probably feel best until you heal. Take it slow and see what feels good in your body each day. We just started the 30 days for beginners.

Cant get all of the way thru day 3. Should we repeat until we are strong e ought or continue with the series. I am 77 yrs old, in ok shape. Hi Jerry, the videos in the 30 days of yoga series build on each other. Do what feels good in your body, meeting your own appropriate edge without forcing anything. Modify as needed or desired each day and continue on through the series and watch as your practice evolves and grows.

If you are new to yoga, be sure to check with your medical provider before starting a new physical activity. I would like to respectfully disagree with the person who said the Yoga Camp is too easy. This YC is connecting me with yoga again after many years away from it. Thank you so much, Adriene. Day 25 is one of my favourites. I also find simple poses sometimes expose a defect or an area which has deteriorated and needs attention. I found Texas T fine however bending at elbow from this position I found right hand 5 inches from flush. Now focus to fix. I want to thank you for providing these terrific videos.

My self-confidence is returning and I am waking up on so many levels after being emotionally asleep for many years. Suffice it to say that I am extremely grateful for discovering your work on YouTube. Looking forward to working through as many of your videos as possible. Adriene, Today was my last day of 30 days of yoga.

I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I enjoyed it every day and looked forward to every session. I really hope you do more challenges for I was looking for a gentle way to find fitness again and so far this has brought me nothing but positivity. Hi I really like your videos and your pretty smile. When do you come to Canada for Yoga Classes? Please send a messae to me. I totally piggy backed a comment, I think.

I generally felt sick, and sad, and angry all at the same time, all of the time. I just became very unhealthy, all the way around. It has more than changed my life, it has enriched it. Through you, I found some inner peace. Which is everything to me. Sending so much love and positive energy in your direction! Thank you, thank you.

I want to thank you so much for the free online videos on YouTube. I just finished class 3 from the 30 day work out and it has made a huge difference in my health, connection with my inner voice and overall I just feel awesome! The best part for me is how you taught me to be gentle with my own body and to listen intuitively to my inner being.

This is very helpful for a single mom with four boys in a very intense Phd program. It helps balance out my life! I have RSD, in my right foot. I have been doing you yoga for beginners for about a month. Should I keep doing that one or can I do more. I have very little movement in my foot. I just discovered Adriene this week. There was a recent video for sale on Amazon, so I did some digging and found you on YouTube. I am also looking for videos you can do with small children to get them started on practicing yoga and meditation.

There are some videos on this on the internet, but would much prefer to do it with you… if you ever develop one. Thanks again for all of your wonderful videos and for making this so accessible for everyone! I could not agree more!! I do have one request…. Would be very interested in how I can use the physical environment to help me settle in to some difficult stretches.

I saw you Videos they were really awesome. The best Part Is you explain steps perfectly as if u have done research over it. I mean they are not bookish Knowledge. Thank you my friend. The true knowledge comes from practice and experience- so, yes, I am learning too! The videos hopefully will capture my growth as I continue on as a student! Happy New Year and keep in touch!

I come from Sweden and I am currently living in Hamburg in Germany. Your should come to Hamburg and teach a public class! I would definitely bring all my friends!! I just got into yoga and your videos have helped me a lot. I have never felt so good and calm after a workout and it helps my sleep. Thank you, thank you ,thank you so much! Is there any particular videos you would recommend for a beginner or should I just repeat this 30 day challenge?

In March , I woke up one day with half my bod numb. I was doing my own yoga practice and getting a little bored, when I found yours! Thanks for aiding in my healing journey! Really want to deepen my practice. Adriene, I am a former professional ballet dancer turned academic. I used to jog in Virginia but in Hawaii it was too hot.

Then I found you. I had never done yoga and found the 30 day challenge. I learned to breathe and how it relaxed me after my very stressful teaching day as well as doing wonders for my posture. I am on day 26, although not every day without breaks. I become calm, sleep better and am so much more relaxed. I am hesitant to finish the 30 days because then I will be finished. Thank you so much. I see what you mean. I have sick feeling to the stomach after exercise, occasionally, too. When that happens, I eat something. Perhaps a small piece of fruit or yogurt might be a good choice for you.

When you do hard exercise, your body uses up blood sugar and that can make you feel cranky. Do you recommend this for men as well as women? Often there are more men than women in my public classes these days! I just LOL all the time practicing through your awesome videos! Besides the belly, big abs run in my family. Occasionally it gets in the way! And I just crack up. Then you do one of your funny voices or yogi jokes. I really enjoy all your videos, u r so great, ur videos really help!!! I downloaded ur videos, all of them!!

Keep updating videos pls!!! Hey Adriene, found you on itunes. Thx for your videos. They help me for my morning yoga. Videos are very cool and helpful. I have downloaded them from youtube. Thank you for your note and yes, Bluey likes to sneak his way into the videos any chance he can get! Enjoy your practice and yes, find what feels good baby! Sooooo I just started following along with your videos yesterday. I have to admit… I was kind of skeptical before I started yoga. I was sooo wrong.

After doing your 40 min weight-loss video on YouTube yesterday, I felt amazing! I literally had one of those like 10 minute stare at yourself in the mirror sessions. Just one session of your yoga made me so much happier! To hear that you had a 10 minute stare at yourself moments makes my heart swell! I feel like most consider self love egotistical. We either have to much to too little. Thank you for your note! My first time doing yoga was one of your youtube videos and i loved it!! Hi Andrea, Thank you for such a sweet note I am so glad you are hopping on the mat and enjoying it.

EnJOY it all and let me know how it goes. You are an inspiration to me too. Hi Adriene, I have really been loving your videos. I challenged myself to do 21 days in a row of yoga, which has been pretty wonderful! I have discovered so much strength and confidence and I really look forward to my practice everyday. However, all the yoga has left my wrist and elbow feeling sore.

I was wondering if you might have some ideas about continuing to practice in some sort of vinyasa-like flow while laying off the wrists and elbows a bit. Thanks for all the great videos! Hi Danna, I am so sorry I missed this comment from before! I appreciate the connect and your feedback. We must not give up on them and we must tend to them. For Vinyasa, and for me, it is all about cultivating that upward current of energy in the body- Hasta Bandha in the hands.

Hi Adriene, I found out about your videos few weeks ago and i must admit, this is a great discovery!

Thank you very much for sharing your experience, your love and your positive energy with us. You are a true inspiration. Hello Adrienne, I am Trine. Let me know how it goes and know that I am always here as a resource or yogi friend for you! I have been following your channel for a while now and I just want to say a huge thank you! I have always had a flabby belly sorry for the overshare! Is it really possible at my age? Thank you, thank you, thank you for being the person you are and for motivating a middle aged mum! Thank you so much for this note and for your kindness. It has inspired ME and hopefully those who read our exchange. Transformation is hard at any age but you ultimately answered your own question! It does take time and patience but when we focus on the journey the outcome comes naturally and more organically- and sooner than you would think.

Transformation is powerful and empowering — and challenging as hell. Listen to your body and your practice. Your yoga practice and experience on the mat will bleed into your daily life seems like it already has! I too am power walking more plus more mindful eating — really paying attention to how certain foods make me feel. Also, I am a huge fan and cheerleader of conscious language and meditation.

So helpful in this world! Lets take our attention away from lower belly and inward to what really counts. In time the transformation will rear its head! Its never too late. Thanks for replying so quickly! And thank you so much for your advice…so wise! And yes I have been studying some meditation techniques too! From a dedicated yogi Sarah xx.

Adriene, I took a class last night and we did warrior three and half moon. I was all over the place. I need some practice. I loved hearing this! And yes, expect to see warrior III coming up soon and I will be sure to do half moon as well! I got a great way to get into half moon practice that I love! It looks absolutely great! Your journey sounds fun!!! We use a Canon 60D and a Canon T3i. Much love and happy travels my friend!

I have acid reflux and start to have a little bit of osteoporosis because of the medication I take for the reflux. My doctor recommended to me to do sport and especially yoga to maintain healthy bones and I am very happy to have discovered your website.

I LOVe your videos! They are so different from the other ones! It was difficult for me to practice at home but since I have discovered your blog it has become so easy, natural and nice! Thanks for everything you do. To keep myself from falling back into detrimental habits, I have set a Google Calendar alarm, reminding me to stand up every 20 minutes. At the last alarm of every hour I try to do 5 minutes of deep hip and leg stretching. You should make one of your awesome videos to go with it. Setting your alarm is a great idea! I often work at my computer and the time whizzes by. I am going to try this myself! There is a good video for hip stretches but I will do some sequences for office workers!

The silent series is great for those who work at a desk too! Lots of love, Adriene. I just started yoga and have found the downward dog pose really hard but the way you explained it was amazing will be practicing it everyday now. You can do it! You are already doing it my friend! Practice and will unfold. Just got myself into yoga about a couple of months ago. Thank goodness for bumping into your video. Tried roaming around the net for other yoga videos just for the sake of variety , but at the end of the day I would always end up hanging at your Youtube channel.

Sending my love all the way from Malaysia, Adriene! I appreciate the feedback and am happy to announce that the weight loss series will continue to unfold and requests are always welcome! Also, we have some new goodies coming out Jan 2nd for those who like the weight-loss, cleansing and toning series- stay tuned! Love back to you. Booo, so sad, you skipped my message! Anyway I continue to practice your videos very regularly and I still love them! If you have any recommendations of videos for keeping the bones strong, especially in the back, it would be great!

I am sorry I did not see your previous message! I send you love and deep appreciation! Most of the sequences are super beneficial to the back- in fact, all of them are! So good for the joints and the spine! Practice and enjoy your yoga! If you asked another question in your previous note- please ask it again! Just recently came across your videos on youtube and loving them!

I began my training when I was 18 in Austin Tx at Yoga Yoga and then followed a mentor to a beautiful Yoga Co-operative called Healing In Yoga which was led by some incredible and inspiring yogis who trained under Rodney Yee. I began teaching kids yoga there and committed to a daily practice. Since then I have taught in classrooms and gyms, art galleries and even in a moon bounce! I will write about this on the blog.

My best advice is to be yourself- be your yoga- be you! Make room for error, for discovery and move compassion, acknowledge the 8 limbs, teach with love. Enjoy your training- go there! All my love, A. I am so grateful that I found your site! I do not have yoga classes in my budget right now, and I absolutely love the way you teach…it is as good as being in the same room with you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for not charging us to have access to your videos…it has been a lifesaver for me!

It is a dream come true for me too Melanie! Free yoga and an opportunity to inspire each other and encourage happy, healthy and full lifestyles. Lets rock it out! Thank you so much for all your videos and this positive energy that you put into them. I am a yoga teacher myself. I started to teach yoga not so long ago and I love peeking at your sequences to get inspiration for my vinyasa classes.

I love how you explain poses and movement with such lightness and joy! I just love yoga. All the best to you and love from Poland, Izabela. It is such a gift and a joy! I am so grateful! Thank you for sharing and I send you love! I love your youtube videos! And you are so welcome, though really — you are doing all the work! Practice and you will be in wonder! No one teached Yoga like you do, Adriene! Thanks for the awesome awesome videos!! You are cool and quirky and your videos are awesome! My buddy and I would get stoned and wait till someone would fart.

It was so much fun. Thanks for all the positive energy. I really want to learn those crazy headstands and hand stand poses. Yoga for dudes would be incredible. What a gift to the world. I know you will be paid back by the universe but I want to also add my gratitude. I have been looking for some groovy online yoga classes for a while now and I must say I am so happy I found you!

I have been working my way through your videos and it has really helped my body to relax after intense ballet classes… You seem to be a really awesome chicky babe! I love watching and enjoying your videos, even just for your positive attitude. I have also learnt a lot already — there are lots of poses and stretches that I have been doing for years but was never really getting all I could out of them until now.

My name is Emelie, I am 23 years old and real beginner-yogi. After a couple of months of mindfulness-practices and meditation I felt like yoga was the next step to take on my very own spiritual path of healthyness and awesomeness. So last week I got myself a yoga mat, and I have practiced 30 minutes per day for six days now.

I am not a natural bendy person, and one of my goals for the first half year with yoga practices was to be able to have straight legs, and touch my toes with my hand. On monday, after my first yoga practice, I was 15 cm from the floor when I tried and I felt as bendy as a fridge. Today, six days later, I touched my feet. I see results SO fast. Yet I have taken it really slow, not doing anything that hurts or feels too uncomfortable. I have been watching your free videos on youtube, and I love the way you really think about us beginners in your practices.

But meditation, yoga and mindfulness really helps me going through this dark period of the year. I eat alot of fruits and raw foods, try to imagine sunlight and bright colors in my mind , beeming out through my chest. And it really helps. You have too excuse any misspelling, since I am a swede spelling english can be a liiiittle bit tricky.

I enjoy doing them, its wonderful reconnecting with the body again. Looking forward for more videos on weight loss!!!! Really the most beautiful Yoga Videos I ever saw. Thank you, Adriene for so much inspiration and to give me the desire of practicing Yoga every single day because it makes you feel so incredibly satisfied and joyful. Would be a great seller;. You are truly a teacher. I feel so blessed and inspired as I read through your script.

Just wanted to say I find your videos and approach very refreshing from all the other videos out there. Thank-you so much and please keep it up. You are an amazing teacher. My husband and I recently moved and have been doing yoga via you tube, and we stumbled across your you tube site and thought you were adorable. Would you be interested in making a video for runners, that targeted areas were we runners are usually tight hips, quads, hammies, etc. We love the energy and pep you bring to the practice! Discovering my love for yoga started almost the same as yours! I just finished a class for credit last semester and I was immediately obsessed.

Anywho, I have been struggling to find a good class to go to here and stumbled across one of your youtube videos which led me to your website. I am transferring to Texas State in San Marcos in the fall.

Be on the look out for me! I am working on my self love as it is something I have struggled with my whole life along with panic attacks, going on my first 9 hour plane ride soon so looking for some breathing techniques etc that will keep me and my partner sane haha and from the few videos of yours I have tried, yoga could be the key! I love me some good books to and love to read up on things that interest me so would love love some suggestions on books?? Could you make a short sequence for a stiff neck and upper back.

You would me do such a big favor. Thanks Adriene, your videso always make me happy.
