Please try again later. Kindle Edition Verified Purchase. Honestly I couldn't get into this book for some reason. But I don't give up on books and I'm glad I didn't. About a third of the way in I finally became interested. Half way through I was hooked. And near the end I was so emotionally invested I shed tears and smiled and laughed and became exasperated by the antics of the characters I began to care for.
I didn't really read the description when I downloaded it but it becomes apparent pretty quickly there is some kind of love triangle and having had my own fair share of relationship drama in the past I just wasn't up to reading someone else's. It's hard to say who you want her to be with because she's a likable character herself and the men you just end up falling for. I would love reading a follow-up on the characters and see how their lives have changed since the conclusion of this book. Though I did become pretty annoyed with how flirtatious the main character was when she had a boyfriend and it was all overlooked as if it were no big deal hand holding, sitting on laps that didn't belong to her boyfriend, etc and the writing style of the author present and past tense used when telling their story I actually would recommend this for others.
One of the most absolutely ridiculous books I've read in a long time, this is the story of Stacy, a recent college graduate, and Jeromy, her boyfriend. It's also the story of Stacy and Billy, her boyfriend's good friend. When Jeromy and Stacy relocate to Houston, they decide to live with Billy instead of setting up their own home. Stacy seems tragically unaware of personal boundaries and her idea of "friendship" with Billy includes touching his inner thigh under tables, sitting in his lap, and sleeping in his bed.
It isn't surprising when Jeromy, the square guy with a job that doesn't include covering Nickleback songs and doing rounds of shots, gets kicked to the curb. It's actually surprising that it takes as long as it does. This book seems to take place in an alternate universe where fame works completely differently than it does in ours. Billy lives on his trust fund, so it makes sense that he doesn't have an actual job.
But the rest of the band -- as well as their manager and their media director -- what are they living on? This is a band so under the radar that appearing on a local news morning show is an exciting opportunity for them -- but we're supposed to believe that Billy and Stacy are somehow household names who get their house mobbed when stuff happens to them. Stacy has not one, but two, cartoonishly evil stalkers.

Understanding how famous this band is, this is one of the most confusing parts of the book. And Stacy is just. I've never heard anything with TL Gray prior to this story but thought she did a good job.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry? I cried like a baby towards the end of the book. I was really surprised at the turn the book took. Obviously like most romance readers I like my happy ending and thought for awhile there, I wasn't going to get it. I was however pleasantly surprised at how much I liked the twist the book took to take you to the very final ending. It was a sweet story about love and the struggle to do the right thing. I was all set to listen to a triangle love story. Wonder who Stacy would end up with after a back an forth time.
Absolutely Unforgivable
The beginning starts out with that feeling. Then they get to Houston and Stacy starts acting a bit slutty. Even going so far as getting a lap dance from a girl. One would think that would lead into an interesting moment of conflict with one of the 3 but nothing. Making that whole long scene unnecessary. That's when she realizes she loves Billy.
