How this romance enfolds is the way I imagine some women would have liked their first times—having sex and falling in love—to be. Virginal, former shrinking violet finds true love with a handsome, wealthy and more experienced older man? The fantasy is appealing but what makes this concept work is the believable execution. I liked how Violet and Leo's relationship evolved over several months with them actually getting to know one another through Pure romantic fantasy—I lapped it up!

I liked how Violet and Leo's relationship evolved over several months with them actually getting to know one another through conversation. They did jump into bed quickly, but they were clearly enchanted with each other's minds and characters as well as their bodies. I also liked how Leo still retained a sexy edge to him in addition to being nice and charming he can be my master anytime, hehe.

It was cute seeing how his jealous, protective attitude towards Violet hinted at deeper feelings. Most of all, I enjoyed seeing Violet bravely overcome her fears to embrace a HEA with the man of her dreams. Mar 03, Tia rated it really liked it. I adored watching the heroine grow into a beautiful, strong and courageous woman.

This was an okay story. I liked the heroine's resolve at the beginning of the novel and I felt sympathetic towards her at the beginning of the book due to her history - which I think lots of people can relate to.

I didn't like, however, that despite telling herself that she's only after sex, all it took was one encounter with the lead male, Leo, for her to fall deeply in love with him. That's just one of my pet peeves in romance stories because it's so unrealistic and just so stupid. It makes th This was an okay story. It makes this great female character look stupid and naive and I hate that. Lots of people have extremely bad acne and they never have the money to remove the scarring.

I think that I would have enjoyed this story more if she was viewed as beautiful with the scarring. I think that this story equates physical beauty within socially acceptable parameters as a sign of being a worthy person and I disagree with that sentiment.
