The ending never really ties up the lose end, it kind of leaves you trying to figure out how the dad, aunt and bed and breakfast tie together, my hunch is the makers of the movie did not know themselves. His mother's love does not let him leave. The mother, who is with her son for the whole time, tells him her story, tells him things she never had time or courage to tell him, and he creates his own story out of the scraps of her story.

Thus, there is an aspect of a budding friendship, there is also a monster and a talking bird Behind the title blue door there is a world of imagination, dreams and a great mystery! This is a film about maternal love, the fight for life, but also about difficult relations. The state of the character in this aspect may be taken literally and metaphorically.
The state he falls into becomes a symbol of separation of the character from the outside world, an internal blockade that prevents him to establish close relations. The film shows an attempt to build these relations, shows love and its determination. Instinctively, he mythologizes his father, like every boy, he needs the courage and strength of a man - the father and the loving mother's devotion.
I wanted this film to be a great adventure, but also to confront the problems of every growing child. I hope that the journey to the world that we have created in the film will be taken by not only young viewers, because the story we tell is in my opinion universal.
