You will decide how to regard any of this. You will also decide whether to regard your next thought of God, whether is is God or just some genetic impulse that science has not thoroughly explained. I would kindly suggest, however, remain open to the possibility that the fact you're reading this, as well as every thought of God you have that follows, might just be God awakening in you.

Emerson said, "Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, know that we carry it within us or we find it not. If you make it your practice to give a little attention to every thought of God you have, you will soon start believing each thought of God is God.

This is how believing works. Believing, at least in the way Jesus expressed it, has little to do with content and everything to do with conduct. So make these suggestions your spiritual practice. This is how faith grows and believing, or trusting works. So, as you make your new way of thinking -- ie. If you want to explore this reality in greater depth, I encourage you to read my award-winning book, The Enoch Factor: He is not willing that any should perish, the Bible says, but that all should be saved.

The reason He sent Jesus into the world is so that we could all be saved! Religions teach us we need to earn God's favor.

The Bible tells us God's favor is a gift. All He is waiting for is for us to admit our need. Once we confess our sin, His forgiveness is ours 1 John 1: In today's world, it's easy for us to think that we suffer alone. But if you have wondered where God is, so has someone else. Now that you know who He is and where He is, you can help someone else know where God is, too.

Knowing God Personally

Near the end of the Gospel of John, just before He was crucified, Jesus told His disciples about a comforter He would send, to remind them of all the things He had taught. That comforter, the Holy Spirit of God, came at Pentecost, just a short time after Jesus ascended into heaven. In the first chapter of Acts we read about that event as His disciples were filled with His Spirit and began declaring the Gospel message. What this means for you and me is that once we confess our sins, receive God's forgiveness and accept the gift of salvation through Christ, we can know the presence of that Comforter, too.

With His Holy Spirit living in us, His nature gradually overtakes our own. As that happens, others will begin to discover where God is by knowing you. God , the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus , the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried , and rose from the dead according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior , declaring, " Jesus is Lord ," you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.

What is your response? Play Audio - Where Is God? Is the Bible True? What Do You Believe? Jesus died for us, in our place. He did this out of his tremendous love for us. Jesus is "the image of the invisible God…by him all things were created. Jesus not only died for our sin, he rose from the dead. That is why Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life; no one can come to the Father except through me. Instead of trying harder to reach God, he tells us how we can begin a relationship with him right now. Jesus says, "Come to me. Whoever believes in me… out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.

And he now invites us to come to him, that we might begin a personal relationship with God. Just knowing what Jesus has done for us and what he is offering us is not enough. To have a relationship with God, we need to welcome him into our life…. We must individually accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. The Bible says, "Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. We accept Jesus by faith. The Bible says, "God saved you by his special favour when you believed.

And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. Accepting Jesus means believing that Jesus is the Son of God, who he claimed to be, then inviting him to guide and direct our lives. And here is Jesus' invitation.

Paul Washer - Do you see God working on your life?

He said, "I'm standing at the door and I'm knocking. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in. Self is on the throne. Jesus is outside the life. Decisions and actions are solely directed by self, often resulting in frustration.

Aaron Menikoff

Jesus is in the life and on the throne. Self is yielding to Jesus. The person sees Jesus' influence and direction in their life. You can receive Christ right now. Remember that Jesus says, "I'm standing at the door and I'm knocking.
