Good Fellowship

It's cooked to a high quality standard and tastes great The staff are friendly and eager to help. Whilst we were there they were busy moving tables to accommodate a large party that had walked in unplanned as the staff wanted them to be able to sit together in comfort. Our food and drinks were served by Daniel F and Emily F who were both lovely. The Goodfellowship is a great venue for both families and couples alike and I thoroughly recommend visiting here if you are in the area.

I've been coming here with the Mrs and little one for years. A while back the food was not the best but the reasonably priced beer, and busy but enjoyable atmosphere kept you coming back. Not so long ago they had a refit and ever since it's been fantastic. Each night has a theme 'Chicken Wednesday' is really good. The quality of service is great, and it never takes over 40mins to wait for food, even when it's busy.

They also take an NHS discount. An enjoyable pub to go eat and have a drink mid week. The carvery is a must for the price. Hello, Thank you for your review. When a review covers a lot of topics like yours and most are positive it sure does put a smile on our faces. Visited with family for a midweek evening meal. The menu is typical pub grub burgers, steaks, curries, pies etc as well as a carvery. Food is very average. Edible but there are plenty of other, better options nearby. Service was disappointing, a very long wait for puddings almost half n hour.

Bar staff friendly but waiting staff said nothing and made no eye contact. Used to be a great pub many years ago but now just another chain. Visited last sunday with family and had the carvery - food was lovely and hot - and plenty of choice even if you're a veggie like me! Got extra Yorkshire pud as had no meat but there are alternatives if you ask at the bar when ordering.

Staff member who served me informed me of this - was my first time eating here was very friendly and helpful - would go again and would recommend. Can get busy with families and parties etc. The venue itself is quite big and easy to find. However, the food was average and in some cases below average.

Furthermore, the service was terrible , my friend waited 40 minutes for her food and then we all waited 35 minutes for our milkshakes. Overall, i would not recommend the cavery to anyone. Other places do it much better.

When we eventually got our meals all the meat was either burnt or chewy and the garlic My parent booked to hold a wake for our Nan at The Goodfellowship Inn due to its location and proximity to the crematorium.
