ONE STEP AT A TIME (Hugo the Happy Starfish - Educational Childrens Book Collection 5)

This is the most important thing for a children's book, and in that regard, this e-book delivered. The positive message of never giving up and to keep trying is another thing we really liked about the book. There were, however, a couple of problems with the way the book flowed. Again, this won't matter to the children but the adult reading to the child might notice a lack of direction as the characters move through the My three year old grandson liked One Step At A Time - Hugo the Happy Starfish.

At times it feels like they start to go in one direction and then completely shift direction mid stream. It really bothered my older daughter that the starfish had 6 legs instead of 5 as well.

Overall, I am giving the e-book a 4 rating because my grandson liked it enough to sit still to listen to the full story. One Step At A Time teaches children that no matter how hard something seems you need to keep going. Hugo is faced with cold temperatures and an exhausting distance, but he won't give up. It is okay to feel as though you should give up but in the end the dedication and time will be worth it. Children will learn the importance of perseverance and persistence in achieving the goals you set for yourself.

Children will love going on this adventure with Hugo. They will see the importance or attaining One Step At A Time teaches children that no matter how hard something seems you need to keep going. They will see the importance or attaining their goals and the rewarding outcome.

It's part of a several books about happiness which includes 10 other books, plus books translated into Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian, Japanese, and French. Hugo is an adorable starfish who learns to find happiness by working for it bit by bit. The book has great illustrations, and there are accompanying wor Starfish are cute creatures - especially in cartoonized, children's book form. The book has great illustrations, and there are accompanying worksheets available to deepen the lesson and encourage discussion between parents and children, or even in the classroom.

The manta comes by and tells him about this real life mountain in Switzerland and makes a list on how to get there. One step at a time, as he goes down the list getting his other friends to help him, but it's brought him to the other mountain. So he strives onward to get to the other bigger one in the distance as others tell him 'do not give up'. The journey is long Some phrases are in German and they are translated into English. He's always learning new things and each story has an excellent moral to teach kids. This time Hugo learns the importance commitment in the the story, One Step at a Time. Each child experiences of level of difficulty throughout the day with what can be an overwhelming task of learning new things.

Children learn the most in the first five years and their brains are absorbing so much, I'm sure there are points in their day tha Hugo the Happy Starfish is, as you know, one of my favorite characters. This is such a sweet story and a great lesson to be learned for young children. Just as the title suggests it is about a starfish named Hugo and his adventure about learning how to take things One Step At a Time.

My children really enjoyed it even though we broke it down into sections because it was longer than a lot of other children's books. The benefit to breaking it up as we did was it is also helping my children with reading comprehension. We can talk about what happened in the story the la This is such a sweet story and a great lesson to be learned for young children. It is a cute book! The book is available in 6 different languages: Hugo sets out to see the mountain and encounters obstacles along the way. Hugo starts off each day with enthusiasm but as he encounters each obstacle that enthusiasm wanes and he is tempted to give up and go home. Hugo's friend, Lambda the sheep, encourages him along the way and urges him to press on to reach his goal. This is an important lesson to teach any young person today.

THE REAL WORLD

From the very first page, Hugo the Happy Starfish grabs your attention and brings you right into the story with him. Following Hugo from the depths of the ocean floor to the top of The Matterhorn, is a huge adventure where Hugo the Happy Starfish has to travel a great distance and battle the cold and snow. Manta tells Hugo to never give up. When Hugo realizes how high and far away the mountain is he wants to go back home. A friend helps him by telling him to take a step at a time and Hugo gets to the top of the mountain! I love these children's books because they are great at teaching children. Hugo is such a great character, he teaches us as he learns, and there is nothing more beautiful than that!
