My friend's father enjoyed having her read some of the stories contained within to him. An uplifting read to say the least.

Comforting to know we're not that far removed from some of the most infamous names in the bible. Max Lucado born January 11, is a best-selling Christian author, and Minister. He was educated at Abilene Christian University. He also hosts UpWords, a fifteen minute radio show that can be heard in thirty states.

Lucado has authored almost books, three of which were listed as top ten books on the Christian Booksellers Association list. His book You'll Get Through This: He made this bestseller list again in with his title Miracle at the Higher Grounds Cafe and again with Glory Days: Anxious for Nothing, and Unshakeable Hope.. He will whisper and shout.

He will take away our burdens.

Not my favorite book. I didn't even finish it because it was too slow. Some chapters were good but it lacked a storyline and depth to me.

I have read better books. First of all, Amazon is incredibly great about shipping items as soon as possible. I was kind of bummed out when I saw the projected delivery date was at least a week after I purchased the book, but when I received it early, I was overjoyed. This book is a great read - Max Lucado has a writing style like no other and the way he makes things personal feels like he has been a friend forever.

On the page where the information for the product is given, I thought all the information presented was wonderful. Plus, the change to "look inside" the book makes the suspense rise until I actually have the book in my hand. Thank you Amazon for your incredible service. I have been reading scripture for a long time If you think God doesn't love you or care Max Lucado has to be one of the all time greatest writers!!

I even bought an extra one for a friend. My granddaughter turned me on to this book, and I really glad she did.
