Trailblazer - Book Series In Order
Adoniram Judson was a Christian missionary to Burma and this is an interesting look at a period in his life when he was falsely imprisoned and nearly put to death as a spy during Burma's war with England. This book mostly focuses on his first wife, Ann, and her tireless efforts to get Adoniram released. Ann died shortly after these events took place. Adoniram was in prison at the time and convinced the jailer to let him go out twice a day to find a local woman to nurse his child so that she could survive. Jan 22, Diane Stephenson rated it really liked it. This is a story about the life of the missionary to China, Adoniram Judson. It is written for the younger generation but I had purchased it for a year-old and wanted to read it before giving it to her for Christmas. I found it engaging and easy to read.
