Please try again later. This is an amazing book, a lush and intoxicating picture book for grown-ups. The art photographs which magically blend painting and photography are fabulous. The poses are varied and unusual, and some illustrations veer more toward paintings while some look more like photographs.
They are endlessly fascinating to look at since the blending of the two mediums gives such richness and depth. The story is somewhat abbreviated since it is a novella, and it sort of drops us abruptly into a battle and then a love scene, but I liked the story as well. I am a die-hard romance fan and medieval junkie, so this hit the spot for me. He knows how to ride a horse and fight with a sword, and his knowledge of the era is apparent. He is more than just a pretty face and has worked as a cover model, illustrator and writer.
He and Lynn Sanders make a wonderful team, and I admire them both for creating their dreams so we can all share in their beauty.

They were both very nice and seemed to have an easy and affectionate relationship with each other. Despite the fact that Cherif is drop-dead gorgeous, he was friendly to everyone and seemed unaffected by his looks. I truly hope that they create more wonderful books like this one, particularly with Cherif as the hero. Their unique and beautiful look at the world is greatly appreciated by this reader. Please be sure you either enjoy a really bad taste in romance novels or a really balls-out good sense of humor regarding them, because this book is ridiculous bordering full retard.
I bought it as a joke for a romance fan I would buy this book for anyone who needs a hearty laugh over some smouldering stares and heaving bodices. I keep buying this book, and then lend it to friends. I lose more friends that way.
As always, Cherif Fortin is beautiful and as a bonus, he wrote the text for this book. I told him, while fanning myself "Good Job!! Kindle Edition Verified Purchase.

This story was simply amazing. It held me spellbound from start to finish. The illustration made it that much more enchanting. I was enthralled, breathless, captivated. The authors of the book had great collaboration in imagery. The plot was well thought out and executed to precision.
The character development was profound. The honor the hero showed was on a level beyond reasonable. He was every womans dream knight. The heroine knew her mind and stuck to her guns. Not indecisive like some authors would have portrayed. The story overall was a great mixture of intrigue, mystery, and romance while the love scenes were tastefully done not to detract or distract from the main characters story. This was a short love story about hero going off to war and heroine worrying about his safety.
It was still enjoyable and I would recommend this book. Nice story, richly narrated. I liked it very much and hope we can enjoy a new book from them some day. The wonderful illustrations are the Masterpiece!

Lynn and Cherif are the best at painting and make me go and watch their work over and over again. I really enjoyed this short story and especially appreciated the artwork. It fed my imagination and built more into plot! I had this book on order before it was published. Oh yes, I got an autograph from Cherif-and I enjoy having the book and his signed picture on my bookshelf. It was the combination of portrait-quality paintings within a novel, however, that was most intriguing, and it made me rush home and put the book on order!
