Nov 13, Mary rated it really liked it. The stories in this book were great but I felt that this book was lacking the spooky air that the first of the set had. Also there were many spelling errors when I read it, I'm not sure if they were corrected since then. However, the stories are still very interesting and there were some I hadn't heard before.

Either way, its a fun light read for a dark night.

I found the stories to be very interesting, and some downright spooky. I didn't expect to find a Marine ghost, but I really should have after the bloodbath of Okinawa.

The pictures are a great touch, as well as the comments by the ghost hunters. I did notice a few issues with spelling or sentence structure, but not that bad. Great bedtime reading, or for when you just have time for a story or two! One person found this helpful. Excellent book of tales from Japan you might not have heard before. Written down with respect both for the original storytellers and for the readers intelligence.

All the stories in here are ones that COULD be true, at least they all contain verifiable events, and when true events differ from the tale they are noted in the text. I wish all Paranormal books were written with this level of consideration. An enjoyable group of Ghost Stories. Looking forward to reading Mr.

Dutcher, if you need someone to investigate these haunted spots more extensively, I'm your woman! They are all told in a matter of fact manner that works so well for ghost stories.

This book was good. I like that author doesn't believe in ghosts himself, but also won't deny their existence. It added an interesting affect to his story telling. I currently reside on Okinawa and have big interest in the hauntings here. I'd recommended it to anyone coming to Okinawa. See all 45 reviews.
