Corny is the owner of Green Hornet Investigations I should specify here, Green Hornet handles cases involving missing pets. Halo is new to the profession and undertstandably a bit awkward. The suspect in the case she's working is an unscrupulous thief with a bad temper and who might be dangerous.

Kleve does a nice job of getting the reader to empathize with Halo's nervousness. Anyone who's ever lacked confidence in a situation where they wanted very much to make an impression will be onboard with Halo. When McFarland enters the office where Halo is working undercover, she must fight the major distraction he presents. But there are distractions and there are distractions. Much as Halo doubts it, McFarland is perfect for her in ways she doesn't want to acknowledge.

Halo's Wish is a delightful combination of humor, romance, action, and sweet charm. It is a fast read, great for a lazy afternoon. Doolittle and has expanded to include her girlfriends. You don't have to have read the previous stories but I recommend it as a fun way to spend time.

One person found this helpful. Halo is new to the profession and understandably a bit awkward. Kleve does a nice job of getting the reader to emphasize with Halo's nervousness. If you are looking for a fast read filled with action, suspense and romance, this is the book for you.

Sharon once again brings a real life story filled with passion and romance just in time for the Christmas season. Halo and Rich are the perfect match and when they meet for the first time sparks fly between them. Halo believes she only has time to pursue her career and nothing else. So she rejects Rich's advances and turns him away. Even though Halo turns Rich away, she can not stop thinking about him. Rich does not give up easy and is constantly thinking about her.

He comes up with a plan to see her again. Will a near death experience bring them back together? Sharon is a wonderful writer who writes with such passion and her characters and story are very real and believable. I love how she brings her characters to life and how much you feel apart of the story. I love how she adds her love of animals into her stories.
